Merry Xmas & A Happy New Year! The Lost Episodes - Texas Balloon & Novelty

All I have to give you this Xmas is this CD set free by The Lost Episodes, a 90s Houston garage-prog group that I had something to do with...

I have no other gifts to bring, Ba-Rum-Pa-Dum-Bum, so let me drum(up) an image for you from the Internet, while I still can. No, I did not add the lettering to this image, it's really a Magma Taishi(Space Giants to all you gaijin)Christmas postcard! Wowee-Wow-Wow!
*****************************
We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, etc. Once again, the management of this theatre would like to wish one & all a Very Merry Christmas & Prosperous New Year. Take care.

Stark Terror #2 - The Devil Walks On Halloween

I wish my scanner was big enough to scan this whole image at one time, but I wish a lot of things. One of the other things I wish is that you have a Happy Halloween...

See you on the dark, deserted streets of my imagination...

As promised, another tale from Stark Terror #2.

Yes, you saw that coming, but then you see Halloween coming every year and you don't scoff at that, do you? I hope not, for your sake. Demons and ghosts are real. I know them well...

But then, sometimes, wishes do come true. (Thanks, Frederick!)
Goodbye for now.

MP-TV's Spook Stuff For Hallowe'en

Found a beat-up but playable copy of MP-TV's Spook Stuff For Hallowe'en, this is it. Same record as Howlin' Halloween, different cover, copyrighted same year(1960). Why do different covers exist? I don't know. I monkee'd with the track separation a bit, you won't mind. Or will you? I can never tell with you...
Yes, sir!

I Am Nostalgic (Purple) - Horror Monsters #7, Famous Original Mash Monsters Speak

In 1971 my family moved to a new subdivision, so new that our house was the last house on the block and there were only five houses. It was around this time I saw all the classic Universal monster films on the Channel 39 8:00 Monday(!)Night Movie. I also saw a 16mm print of Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein in the most incongruous situation, at the Meadows Community Center on a sunny Saturday afternoon with the sounds of screaming kids playing in the pool outside competing with Lou Costello's screaming inside. So for the sake of nostalgia, here's a(rather crappy-looking)A&CMF filmbook from Horror Monsters #7, followed by more childhood reveries...

I know I posted this Cult Of Horror ad before, but...

Sorry, couldn't resist!

The first copy of this I ordered from Captain Company came broken in two, so I had to wait 12-16 weeks total to get this record! You only have to wait a few minutes! This record actually scared me a little bit at the time...
The Monster Mash charted three times from 1962(#1)to 1973, the second being in 1970, which is when I first heard it. Finally, a record that spoke to the monster(rock 'n' roll)kid in me! I didn't get the lp until sometime later(my digital camera conked out before I could get a picture of the cover), but you get it now!...
