This ain't your lame 70's kinder-friendly make-up book, this is the real thing!...

Please, please, please in the name of all that's (un)holy, resist the temptation to add glitter to this make-up! You're the ruler of the universe, show some taste!...

Famous Monsters Do-It-Yourself Monster Make-Up Handbook

Sooo, there's just one thing I gotta know- you guys wanna see the inside of this magazine? I don't know how many of my usual readers would be interested in a make-up book, even if it's a really cool one. If you do want to see it, I need to get hoppin' cause it is a book of many pages and it's getting close to Halloween in terms of deciding on what you want to be and this might give you some groovy, retro-monster ideas. Let me know or i'm just gonna leave it at this...maybe! MOO-HOO-ha-ha-ha!!!...

Dinner With Drac & Zach!

Everybody's heard Dinner With Drac Pt. 1, right? However, you may not have heard Dinner With Drac Pt. 2 which was an alternate version Zach recorded at the bequest of Dick Clark, who "dug" the original but wanted a "cleaner" version of it to play on American Bandstand. The lyrics are different but frankly I think some of them are even sicker than the first version. Both versions were released back-to-back on a 45 in Feb. 1958. The public rejected the second version. Anyway, here are both versions so you can decide for yourself. Included are two more rare Zacherley B-sides and another great Zach track from the 1963 LP Scary Tales that fits in style-wise, making for a great EP. Enjoy, Whatever You Are!...

The Scarecrow - Pt. Three, HeeHeeHee!!!...

I just noticed that today is the first year anniversary of Magic Carpet Burn. I didn't really think i'd be able to keep it going this long. I think I can make it through Xmas of this year. After that I don't know. Anyway it's been great and has helped me from going insane, hope everyone who has been dropping by has been entertained. I feel like i'm in good company. Well, um, I hadn't intended to make a speech and I certainly succeeded...(paraphrased Marx Bros. joke)

Gold Key's DisMarNeyVel's The Scarecrow, Pt. One

I heartily recommend the film that this comic adapts, it stars the late, great Patrick McGoohan and his maniacal laugh, unfortunately it is a hard film to catch. This version is pretty darn good too, and here it is for all to see...

Tomorrow - Part Two!
