Prof.: Great post in a series of great ones. What a perfect story to post for Christmas! I love how Barks never looses his gentle edge of social awareness. When the glorious day comes for the children of Shacktown, their primary and most important gift is lots of food, not toys. The grand turkeys and cakes seem to be the real gift - the luxurious excess of food - Like Dickens and the Cratchet's Christmas goose. The toys are a nice afterthought.
