I hope you're not operating heavy machinery on those drugs...
EGM3 says: Thank you for posting this. I grew up watching Kitirik and Cadet Don. It was a nice time.
A pal o'mine once told me about Kitirik and watching her on channel 13 when he was young. I had no idea she was so popular what with a kids record and everything!
Oh Wow! And we thought Jimmy Weldon was cool! I don't know, there's just something about any gal in a B&W cat suit that does it for me!
That's so cool. I googled her and it's a super cool story. Kitirik was on the air from '54 to '71! I love stuff like that. How many kids you figure she made happy?
Never heard of her, but I got a thing for Cat Girls so you know I'm digging this! Meowie Wowie!
Mykal- thousands!DSL - the only thing i would attempt on these drugs would be chin-puppeting...thanx for commenting everybody!
fyi: that's my comment above from "Concerned FNP" ??? I'm not sure what that's about.
so, you're saying you're not the least bit concerned?!?... :)
Thanks so much for posting this. Grew up watching Kitirik. Even got to be in the audience once. All I remember is that at the end of the show, the girls got an autographed picture of Kitirik while the boys got one of some guy that was on the show with her. We boys,we might have only bee 4 or 5 years old, but we were pissed.
i would've been!
I was at work at the clinic and must've accidently commented under someone else's sign in name-- derrr!
Hi, I had a good time reading your blog, although the comments took some time to read. I hope to come back and go through some more articles on your blog.

Don't forget Utah Carl! And Carl Bosch! And Milk-drop Moe!As a red-blooded Houston pre-teen boy in the late '50s, I was as hot for Kitirik as could be!
