Christmas 1983 With Yours Truly

Just got a Christmas card from the folks- my mother included these photos of the last Christmas I spent with my family, 26 years ago. That's me, almost wearing a lampshade. Well, someone's got to almost do it, and I've already almost done so many things...
"Can't wait 'til Christmas 2000 when i get my robot and my flying car..."
This will be my last post for a little while, tomorrow I go back to work and by the time I get home, Christmas will be over. I had planned on being much less reticent than usual in my posting this season, but circumstance would not permit. Yet verily I say unto you, Merry Christmas To All, & To All A Good Night...

  7. Prof.: Sorry I tuned in so late. Christmas with the family, and all that. Loved these photos. I bet your mom was the piano player. Pretty nice pile of goodies under the tree, too. You look appropriately reserved for a future Professor. Playin’ it close to the vest. -- Mykal

  11. Wow! I thought that was a picture of ME from 1983, I even had the same rounded glasses (not to mention the surly deadpan expression).

    PS: Love your blog, man!
