This is my fave story from the Melvin comic, it's like he suddenly showed up in Walt Kelly's Pogo terror-tory or something. I love that splash.
That's a cool halloween decoration too. Maybe it's not a pumpkin but actually a Japanese lantern? Those kitties look either sad or pissed... and now I'm thinking they're not happy about a fruit striped pumpkin either.
