That is one of the more gruesome covers ever. Hooks threw any body part is quite painful to gawk at. Is it just me though or is the Hag's price scale skewed a bit in favour of cyclopses over vampires?
Also, I'm not exactly clear on what they mean by "New Picto-Fiction." Fictional stories told with pictures? How'z that "new?!"
the first piece of monsterish literature i ever owned was a '60s paperback compilation of EC stories, and my mom threw it out! that never happened again though...

so it appears that hooks through jaws are not the preferred new body-piercing option...

I bought this exact issue back in '69, and it was instrumental in making my Mom scrutinize my reading materials a lot more closely after that!
