A true labor of love, this is a re-creation of Scary Tales, Zach's third lp, with a difference! The album was originally released with a "trick track", in that track one featured three different vocal takes, whichever one you heard depending on where the needle landed. I have placed the three variations thusly- the first is track one, the second at the end of side one and the third at the end of side two. All tracks come from a couple of different sources, a few not-as-good sounding as the rest of it, but are the best available so far. In addition there are several bonus tracks, two of which are alternate versions of songs from Zach's Monster Mash lp(also available here). If you also grab this i believe you will have the entirety of John Zacherley's 60's output with the exception of Spook Along With Zacherley which is still to be had on cd. Cameo-Parkway put out a best-of called Zacherley's Monster Mash with a great Jack Davis cover- that lp, Scary Tales and Spook Along are very hard to find in their original forms, whereas a vinyl copy of Monster Mash is pretty easy to find, not that I've looked lately...
