There it all is in black & white, what kind of music to MAD Non-Conformists listen to? "Themes from famous monster movies!!"

They must have reprinted this in one of the many many Mad anthologies, because I definitely remember reading this as a kid. Great find!

Prof.: What brilliance. "Play bird calls." Jesus, I laughed outload. I love Mad's sense of satire from this era. The Mag was just so damned cool. Have you looked at it lately? Not terrible, but not this biting or brilliant. -- Mykal

I love this blog!! Really great finds you have here. So fun!! I particularly liked the post on the Book of Monster Jokes and Ghostly giggles along with the Little Monsters comics. I loved the illustrations done for that book. I did some fan art of the first two monsters (the one with the big years and the hairy blob guy and also of the Monster Doctor). You can check 'em out here if you scroll down at the bottom of the post. I also plugged you in there. Thanks again for providing such cool stuff in your blog!

things haven't changed much in the way of movie preferences for ordinary non-conformists and Mad non-conformists over the years..

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like I actually fall more into the "ordinary non-conformists" catagorirs nearly every time--- wah!

I meant to type "ears" instead of years", haha. I'm so out of it. Anyway, thanks for the comment you left over at my blog. I don't mind if you put those drawings here. I'd be honored really! This place rules!! Thanks again!
