A pal o'mine once told me about Kitirik and watching her on channel 13 when he was young. I had no idea she was so popular what with a kids record and everything!
That's so cool. I googled her and it's a super cool story. Kitirik was on the air from '54 to '71! I love stuff like that. How many kids you figure she made happy?
Thanks so much for posting this. Grew up watching Kitirik. Even got to be in the audience once. All I remember is that at the end of the show, the girls got an autographed picture of Kitirik while the boys got one of some guy that was on the show with her. We boys,we might have only bee 4 or 5 years old, but we were pissed.
